Director of Central Services
In 1992 Dan Veit joined The Habegger Corporation as a Human Resources team member, the same year as Habegger’s 40th anniversary. Since then, he’s enjoyed being a part of the 50th and 60th anniversary celebrations as well, still working within Human Resources and also Fleet and Property Management as the company’s Director of Central Services.
Previously, Dan spent a decade with Marathon Oil, with two of those years based in Damascus, Syria overseeing the HR functions. His overseas experience also saw him working in offices in Cairo, Egypt and Tunis, Tunisia, in addition to giving him the opportunity to visit Europe.
Dan is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a dual major in Human Resources and Purchasing. He is a long time member of the Society of Human Resource Management.
Dan is originally from the hometown of Neil Armstrong, Wapakoneta, Ohio and now lives in West Chester, Ohio with wife Kathy. He enjoys spending time with their two daughters’ four children, good food, creating fun times and memories, and traveling.
